Ok, not
the rainforest, but the rainforest at our zoo. Ellie and I were on each other's last nerve so we decided that a day of fun was needed. Plus it was Daddy's first day back to work and I didn't want to be stuck at home with a toddler who was used to 2 parent playmates alldaylong!
First we did a little research on orangutangs.
Then we "tuned into Tokeyo" - anybody get it??

Then we played a quick game of checkers.

Then we watched some monkeys.

Then we watched some fish.

Then I got a great shot!

Then we saw if this one was a prince...he wasn't.

Then I took a pic of our cute "croc'd" feet.

Then I took a pic to prove I haven't let Jesus down yet. See previous post.

Then Ellie got the entire snack area laughing by doing...
this

and this

and this

and this

and this

and this! Seriously the funniest thing ever.

Then we were a tiger.

Then we tried out our new binoculars.

Then we headed for home.

It was a good day.

Looks like so much fun!! She is a real cutie. I love the last shot of you two holding hands!
I can't even imagine heading out to the zoo in snow! Shows you what a sissy I am. It was 45 degrees here yesterday and I was practically worthless! =)
That is so cute! She is her mommy's daughter! :)
I loved those facial expressions of her. Made me smile.
