I think I will. Why not? I am a stay-at-home mom. What else do I have to do? Ha! Maybe my friends and family will get a kick out of the random thoughts that go through my head and will enjoy the pictures I put on here. If I can figure out how to do that.
Now I just need to decide if it will be weekly, monthly, or whenever something monumental happens. I think I will start out weekly and go from there.
Whatever I write in this blog, I want everyone to know that I think I am the luckiest girl ever. Some posts it might not seem that way, but I completely and utterly love my husband and little girl. My husband is the only man I have ever loved and we created the most perfect and precocious and wonderfully silly little girl together.
That being said...
I guess that I will start by saying that this week has been awful. First of all, I turned 31. Turning 30 is fun. (Wow! I am really an adult! And everyone makes a big deal out of it.) 31 is not so fun. I am 31. I feel 18.
Next, the weather sucks. Bad. So bad that Chris had to take the much safer Pilot (and carseat) to work yesterday, which means Ellie and I couldn't leave the house. Those are not good days. By 4 pm I was a basketcase. Then we had averyhealthybutnotverytasty dinner. Yum. I wanted popcorn with lots and lots of butter. It didn't happen.
Ellie woke up with a pretty narsty cold today. Snot everywhere. Especially on my sleeve. There is never a kleenex handy. When I was in college, my cousin, Paige, ate chewed up goldfish that her 2 year old had spit in her hand because there was nothing else to do with it. In my youthful innocence, I about gagged. I so get that now. You do what you have to do. Sometimes it is wiping a kids nose with your sleeve. As I type, I am looking down at dried snot. Nice.
Well, I am off to start dinner (leftovers), get the humidifier going, find the tylenol and fold clothes. I am a real wild child I tell ya!
